The Chamber’s committees are specialised groups that bring together members with common interests to organise events, create networks, and promote concrete initiatives that strengthen both their participants and the Chamber as a whole.

Infrastructure & Sustainability

We aim to serve as a bridge for Spanish and international expertise within infrastructure and sustainable development projects across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. We provide a dedicated platform for professional growth, high-level networking, and the advancement of sustainable business initiatives for our members.

Key activities and focus areas
  • Monitoring and disseminating information on major infrastructure developments, regulatory updates, sustainability policies and emerging market trends.
  • Hosting dialogues, networking events and technical exchanges with key stakeholders and industry leaders.
  • Showcasing Spanish innovation in technology, smart cities, sustainable construction, green building practices and infrastructure development.
  • Promoting ESG best practices among members while encouraging responsible business conduct.

Language & Education Committee

Language & Education

Our mission is to promote Spanish language and education as key drivers of cultural exchange, professional networking and community building in Hong Kong. The committee reinforces the Chamber’s role as a platform that supports skills and talent development, and that promotes Spanish language proficiency as an asset for career opportunities.

Key activities and focus areas
  • Promoting the Spanish language as a tool for professional networking, cultural exchange and community building in Hong Kong.
  • Organising afterwork networking events for informal Spanish language exchange.
  • Developing collaborations with universities and educational institutions through joint programmes, guest talks and academic initiatives.
  • Strengthening links between student members and corporate members of the Chamber.

Serves as the definitive nexus for Spanish lifestyle, gastronomy and arts in Hong Kong. Our mission transcends traditional promotion: we aim to deepen cultural integration by positioning Spanish heritage at the intersection of Hong Kong’s cutting-edge technology and trend-setting urban culture.

  • Cultural fusion and innovation, integrating Spain’s artistic and culinary traditions with Hong Kong’s digital landscape and modern retail trends.
  • Primary resource access, facilitating direct connections between importers, distributors, premium hospitality operators and technology-driven retail platforms.
  • Industry insight and corporate assistance, with market intelligence and advocacy on regulatory matters.
  • Elevated visibility through curated chef collaborations, immersive art exhibitions and high-end experiential showcases.

Dedicated to bringing together the Spanish community in Hong Kong in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Its purpose is simple: to create opportunities for people connected to Spain to meet, share experiences and spend time together while celebrating Spanish culture and lifestyle.

  • A calendar of informal activities: tapas evenings, wine tastings, cultural celebrations, sports activities and casual meetups.
  • Helping members of the Spanish community connect and welcoming newcomers to Hong Kong.
