Her Drive, Our Future: International Women’s Day

On 4 March we had the privilege of hosting “Her Drive, Our Future”, in collaboration with the HKGCC, Airwallex and Google, to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Ms Adriana Chan, Treasurer of the SCC, represented our institution while Ms Josephine Leung represented the Women Executives Club of the HKGCC. The event was opened by Jeannete Chan, Chief Legal, Compliance and Risk Officer at Airwallex.

The event featured three panel discussions. Women in Tech, moderated by Alice Wong, explored the challenges and opportunities for women in the tech industry, with Ellen Lau of Preface, Jess Cheng of Chargespot and Lucia Ma of Klook.

Women in E-commerce, moderated by Michelle Yim, focused on the evolving landscape of e-commerce, featuring Fiona Lau of Workduo AI, Jenny Lo of ANORAK and Prisca Lam of Google.

Shifted Perspectives, moderated by Niko So, examined how perspectives on leadership and collaboration are changing, with Brandon Ballantyne of Google, Katelynn Lam of Deliveroo and May Chan of PAObank.

It was truly inspiring to hear personal anecdotes and perspectives on leadership approaches that prioritise individual growth, especially in our fast-paced technological environment.
